[meteorite-list] Your First Meteorite - When did you Get It

    Hi Greg,
 
  I bought my first meteorite about 4 years ago (2006).  I bought it from the Kitt Peak Observatory gift shop.  It is a pound and a quarter, extremely oriented,  Sikhote-Alin.  There were several Sikhote-Alin's to choose from, and being an absolute newbie, I didn't know an oriented meteorite from an unoriented meteorite.  It was just a lucky pick on my part.  It is very cool.
