Yep,

there is some discussion of this on MPML too

Chris Go, who made the video that the Count posted, is a well known and highly accomplished planetary imager located in the Philippines. The event was captured by at least one other astro-photographer in Australia. The impact site should rotate back around so it is observable on earth just under three hours from the time of this post. It'll be interesting to watch the scar evolve.
