Greetings List,
A word of praise is due to O. Richard Norton, and Dorothy; their
lifelong passions and dedicated work brought about three outstanding
books, and we are indebted to them for their grateful donations to our
education.
Having spent many, many hours reading and re-reading Rocks From Space,
and The Field Guide to Meteors and Meteorites, my mind was truly blown
this week when I received a beautiful copy of The Cambridge
Encyclopedia of Meteorites.
For all those who haven't been blessed with your own copy, I truly
suggest you place this at the top of your wish list.
I can't say enough about the depth of information, gorgeous pictures,
and the author's infectious love for all things meteoritical. This is
a fantastic book, no hyperbole would be sufficient, if you want to
know more about meteorites, this is the ultimate guide.
Many thanks to Dorothy and the late, great Richard Norton. It's nice
to know that they each have their own rocks in space named after them.
All the best,
Ty
