[meteorite-list] Charred wood on sikhote tree

It appears my post didn't make it to the list. The charred wood is actually on the exterior of the log, not behind the meteorite. That detail was lost in translation. My apologies.
I assume (and maybe this is a large assumption) that the wood was charred from the impact cratering events at Ground Zero.  You can see these carbonized areas on the photos if you look carefully.
