These were posted to a Motorola Canopy mailing list and forwarded to me by my father in law.  These vids are from Utah and are brand new....

"I don’t know if many you heard about the meteor that went over Utah last week.  It crossed the sky around midnight and lit things up brighter than day.  I was laying in bed watching TV when the whole room lit  up for a few seconds.  About 5 minutes later there was a pretty good sonic boom.  Some people thought a nuclear bomb had been detonated.  I  heard the meteor was about the size of a washing machine.  They say it was traveling so fast that it could have traveled from the top of Utah to the bottom in 4 seconds. Here are some links to our tower surveillance cameras.  Keep in mind that this is at midnight, yet it lights things up brighter than day.

  I slowed them down about half of normal speed. Pretty crazy…
