Hi Carl, Eric:

Wasn't it our own Sterling K. Webb that determined it was the aerodynamic 
shape of the Carancas meteorite that was responsible for the crater 
formation?  Something about the difference between a frisbee and the flat 
bottomed reentry space capsules?
