Hi Listees!
A few months back I offered some 1960's vintage NASA meteorite-related
books to the list. Going through my pile of stuff while packing for
the move to Tampa, I ran across another rare text that may be of
interest to some readers of this list.
"The Physics of Comets and Meteors" by V.P. Konopleva, Editor
Translated from the original Russian by the Israel Program for
Scientific Translations, NASA, and the National Science Foundation.
Published in 1966 and printed in Jerusalem. 92 pages with tables,
graphs, photos, and drawings. This particular copy is stamped
from the Carnegie Institution, Mount Wilson Observatory Library.
Condition is excellent with no major flaws and only minor shelf wear.
The binding is tight and all pages are crisp.
Table of Contents : (I will omit the numerous Russian author names)
