"The stone consists of cm-sized dark L4 clasts (Fa 25.58+0.53,

Thanks Rob! A database query (personal database) of LL6 Açfer stones
yields one LL6 Açfer stone that has similar Fa and Fs values and that is
Açfer 030. The values are strikingly similar: Fa31.7, Fs26.5. Moreover,
your stone looks pretty weathered in some matrix areas, ... this would fit
the Açfer 030 description as an S3; W4. Açfer 030 is also brecciated and
its metal is described as "oxidized", which implies a cut surface should
have brownish oxidation stains.

Maybe these stones are paired?!?

Cheers,

Bernd
