Mike,
  The easiest way is to go the the county court house and visit the county clerk and county land tax people.  There are public records of all landowners.  You will need to know the location in Township, Range, and Section (or part section, for example R54W, T12, 1/2 NE SEC 13.

  Best of luck.  If that is convenient, stop and ask some locals in the area, at your own risk.  

  Some landowners might not be keen on you checking with the County tax records as they might perceive it as spying on them.
