Hi Michael
It refers to the Eaton Colorado pseudo meteorite. Nininger was
convinced it was meteorite but subsequent research determined it to be
of this earth. Hey he couldn't be right all the time.

In the reference section of the listing click on the "NASA ADS" link.
Then go to the bottom and you will find a couple of articles (at the
bottom) with lots of additional information. One is by Nininger and
details the unusual recovery circumstances.
