Hi, All,
The researcher (who found a historical correlation
between odd rains and "meteoritic and comet events,"
in case you didn't read the article) has a big bucket of
nothing.
He counts odd rains reported anytime in a year that a
meteoritic event occurs or a comet appears as a "correlation."
But a year with a meteoritic event or a comet is pretty much
any year in human history, isn't it?
And he finds a correlation of only 36%, even with this
weak criteria for counting events. And historically, such
events are only reported sporadically, so the record is largely
a random collection.
Put it all together and you have... not much.
