[meteorite-list] What are we doing? Ahhhh!

Hi all,
I get so many emails from people that think they've
found a meteorite. It's ok, that's what I signed up
for when I put up a website and videos designed to
teach.

But I hate when someone sends me an email like this
one. He wants $300,000 for this? Yet he doesn't even
tell me its type or classification! For all I know
it's a Gibeon. Maybe he stole it.... I don't know!
But what makes him think he can sell it for this
amount?  

What are we doing that makes everyone think their rock
is priceless?
