[meteorite-list] Old Meteorite Photo?

Hi, All,

If you read the sales description carefully, the seller
of the glass negative merely says that it looks like a
meteorite to him: "a large pocked marked rock which
I believe is a meteorite."

His belief that this featureless and indistinct mass
is a meteorite is no evidence of anything. In fact, you
have to take his word (or interpretation) that the mass
is a rock, as the image is too vague to determine even
that with any certainly.

Hmmm... any ideas on if this might be meteorite related? I can't find any
info on 'Yellow Dog Mine' and 'meteorite' grouped together.

Kind regards,
