Dear Listees:

Greetings all. Returned late last night from the annual Denver show 
and, as always, the COMETS hosted some outstanding events, and a good 
time was had by all. A few days in Colorado during September makes a 
nice break from the Tucson heat, and it reminds me that other parts of 
the country actually do experience a fall season  : )

The charity raffle raised over $12,000 for the people of Greensburg, 
KS, and the prize drawing was held Saturday night at the COMETS party. 
5 of the 6 Greensburg volunteer committee were present, as were a good 
number of the prizewinners. Maria Haas and Anne Black kept a tally of 
all the winners, and everyone will be notified as soon as possible. 
Winners who were not present will have their prizes mailed to them at 
our expense.
