WoW! I think this is a silly subject and/or debate as far as the thought of
calling these "coins" "COMET's" since these "items" depict meteorites. Big
difference and misleading. First, definition of a coin is as follows-A piece
of metal on which certain characters are stamped by government authority,
making it legally current as money; -- much used in a collective sense.
Definition of a Token-disk used like money: a disk of metal or plastic used
instead of money, e.g. in slot machines
Definition of a Medal-A piece of metal in the form of a coin, struck with a
device, and intended to preserve the remembrance of a notable event or an
illustrious person, or to serve as a reward.

Knowing these basic but right to the point definitions, the most logical
choice to call these "meteorite coins" would be to properly call them
Commemorative Meteorite Medals or for short CMM's. Oh by the way the
definition of Commemorative-
anything that commemorates, as a stamp or coin that marks an event or honors
a person, issued in limited quantities and for a limited time.
Just my 2 cents worth on this.
