Listees, Greetings All:

Amazing thunderstorms, heavy rainfall and flooding here in Tucson. Not
a bit like the Tucson you know and love during the Gem Show. It always
seems odd to me that we get our annual rainfall in July. Just doesn't
feel right for the desert to be wet in the summer.

Anyway, I have some particularly nice items ending on eBay tonight, all
started at 99 cents with no reserve.

Please note the superb oriented Sikhote-Alin with snub nose, flowlines
-- the works. Looks just like a small nickel/iron rocketship. 43.7
grams. Michael Johnson kindly asked me send photos of it for RFS
Picture of the Day, but I was out of town. Sorry Michael, next time.

Anyway, even if you're not shopping, please check out the photos. This
is a very unusual Sikhote:

Also of note, an historic Odessa, TX individual, 97.5 grams, formerly
of the Carl Schelf Collection. The late Mr. Schelf was an Austin
geologist who excavated part of the Odessa crater during the 1950s. He
was the researcher who dug the exploratory trench which was later
described in several scientific papers (BTW if anyone happens to have a
copy of one of those papers, please let me know):

And there's an oriented Taza, DOUBLE oriented small Sikhote-Alin, and
others. All reproduced in bright digital RGB color for your viewing
pleasure:
