I second that. What type of mechanics could create a terrestrial Bencubbinite? How different would they be from the mechanics of the real thing? Obviously if water is involved (the gypsum), that's a major difference, but the little metal "chondrules" are freaky; even the concept of a Bencubbin-lookalike created naturally on Earth is mind-boggling!Tracy Latimer> From: rob at nakhladogmeteorites.com> To: info at mcomemeteorite.it; meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com> Date: Fri, 27 Jul 2007 21:59:28 -0700> Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] Do you remember this?> > Wow, looks just like Gujba at first glance.> > Rob Wesel> http://www.nakhladogmeteorites.com> ------------------> We are the music makers...> and we are the dreamers of the dreams.> Willy Wonka, 1971> > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "M come Meteorite Meteorites" <info at mcomemeteorite.it>> To: <meteorite-list at meteoritecentral.com>> Sent: Friday, July 27, 2007 9:30 PM> Subject: [meteorite-list] Do you remember this?> > > > > > http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/3447/99179670un3.jpg> > > > I have put this item months ago here, well after the> > analysis it is result is not Bencubbinite but Iron native> > from Antartica.
