Hello Rob and Robert,

"... a portion of the abstract."

=> Meteorites on Mars (Sky & Telescope, Newsnotes, Oct 1999, p.18)

It's not really an "abstract" but 90% of the complete article. Here are the remaining
few lines:

.. dubbed Stimpy at the Mars Pathfinder site appears to be missing a large
circular chip about 30 centimeters across. "We're really convinced that this
is an impact crater," says Hörz, who adds that other rocks at the site - among
them the now-famous Yogi - may have been "collisionally processed.

There is a photo of Stimpy with the following description:

Stimpy, one of the rocks seen at Mars Pathfinder's landing site, bears an obvious,
circular depression (arrowed) that some researchers believe to be an impact
crater. Small meteorites may lie in abundance across the Martian landscape.

Best wishes,

Bernd
