Hi,
I've cut many, many Canyon D's. Most are hard but some
will tear all the teeth off a band saw blade even if
its a diamond blade! I'd assume that you do have a
rare piece with very small (or not so small) diamonds.

However, If it only takes 20 minutes per slice that's
not too bad. The next few slices could get
considerably harder.
