Subject: CALI Corrections and Info...
Hello,
Let me clarify a few things:
Go to:
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=cali+m
eteorite&category0=
Here you will see 33 Cali Specimens for sale! That is all I have. I have
listed (Some are Sold) About 5 Grams worth of material. That is it from me.
ONLY 1 piece is listed at $4950.00 opening bid or ~$4,000.00 per gram. ONLY
ONE piece. This is a fantastic 1.23 gram fragment and honestly that is
what I want for it. So, actually I do not care if this piece sells or not. I
will gladly keep it. If someone wants it, that is what they will pay.
Of the 33 specimens that I am offering, 5 of these have an opening bid of
0.99 cents. This is for ALL the folks who dont want to buy straight out,
but want to bid and get a chance at a deal. So instead of putting
these auctions on one at a time, over many weeks
I decided to spread them
out over a 10 day period. What they go for is what they go for.
THE REMAINING 27 pieces have a collective price of about $2000.00 per gram.
I charge more for interesting pieces and for pieces with fusion crust,
But the average is about 2k per gram. Also, I am offering some pieces as
PART SLICES. That is correct. I cut my Cali Specimen a little. I wanted to
see the inside
and so I took a 1 gram cut loss., But I am offering SLICES, as well as
fragments.
This is what I am doing with my piece and this is what I am charging for my
pieces. If they are too expensive dont buy them. However there are 5 pieces
that are starting at 0.99 cents, so there is no excuse in saying all of my
pieces are too expensive. Also, a lot of you know that I like to trade
from time to time and maybe if you dont have the $$$, you might throw a
trade offer my way.
Best Wishes
Michael Cottingham
