Some great images (of toilets..hehe)
You thin section guys are of grat envy to me. I do not
have a petrogrphic microscope and even if I did I
wouldn't know what i was looking at except pretty
colours.
I know that different shock levels show progressive
extinction as you change the polarisation thanks to
Encyclopedia of Meteorites (O Richard Norton) but I
don't know what it's meant to show me, or how you can
tell one mineral from another.
It's all witchcraft to me, but quite wonderful
