    You picked the right word: awesome!

    A couple of the more visionary engineering types
have suggested it's possible to build "photosphere
explorers" that pump the heat input right back out
as thrust to maintain a "station" right over the solar
surface, a thought so terrifying as to be the one space
engineering feat I don't even like to think about.

    The flat telescopic perspective of this image (as
cropped) makes it look like they're right there. The
brain knows better, but the eye says they're "right
on top of it"!

    Great image. One more site to add to the check
list.
