"My bet is Howardite, but could be Eucrite"
The brownish tint, which should be grayish, is a bit confusing.
But, like Zelimir, I'd say it is a (NWA) eucrite. Of course, it
could be a howardite as the dividing line between howardites and
eucrites is a bit arbitrary (my personal opinion).
If the color is *grayish*, it might be NWA 3141, 3147, or 3148.
I'm leaning towards NWA 3148, which has plagioclase laths that
are interstitial to pyroxene grains - just a guess, of course!
My apologies to all those good folks who should get email answers
from me, but life is very stressful, very hectic here at the moment.
My Pauline was in hospital, got another two stents, spent 3 weeks
in a spa treatment center, etc., etc.
Best wishes,
Bernd
