Hi Bob,

i think the alcohol would not be the problem,
but i still don't know where i get pure white Sodium Hydroxide. The "red 
devil lye" isn't available here.
I have a granulate (tube cleaner?), but it's not pure, there is also 
anorganic
salt in it. Don't know if i can use that..
