Only if he was trying to make the putt from the first tee to the flag on 
the 18th! <g>

Seriously, the ball does experience a coriolis force, but it is 
vanishingly small compared to the forces it experiences from thousands 
of individual grass blades. The effect on the ball in the air on a long 
shot is probably measurable, but certainly smaller than the degree of 
control even the best golfer can achieve.
