[meteorite-list] OT: Space illustrator Robert McCall

Funny, the list ate half of the text.


Hola list,

yesterday I stumbled by chance over a Lady selling horses under the
enterprise's name Moonrock.
Getting in email contact, it turned out, that she's the daughter of Robert
McCall.

McCall was THE illustrator of space flight for half a century. Official
illustrator for NASA, for books, magazines ect.
I guess each of us saw more then one of his illustrations and certainly for
many of us they were one tessera for the motiviation of our occupation with
space and astronomy.

He's 86 now and still paiting.
