Has anyone made any guesses as to the terrestrial age of 869?  I ask because a rock that big must
have produced a HUGE fireball and smoke trail.  Even with sparse populations in that area, surely
people saw it fall.  Are there any folk tales or legends (or memories of old people, if the fall was
recent enough) that seem to represent a massive meteor?
