The image of the etched iron reminds me of Tambo Quemada IIIAB.
Tambo's bandwidth is 0.7mm -- based on the dimensions you provided,
the bandwidth in this image appears to be slightly wider than this.

Alain Carion has asked to forward a question (and a bit of a  mystery) to
the 
List because he is not a member. 
He bought years ago,  probably in the 80s, this meteorite (see photo). It
was 
part of an old question,  and there were no tags with it. He has been 
wondering all those years what it  was, and has not been able to find a
similar one. 
Would any of you recognize it?  or at least have some idea?

the face on the picture is about 7cm long and 4cm at the widest.
