[meteorite-list] not an anti-Steve post, but almost

How about this? Anyone who doesn't want to get Chicago Steve's
messages to the list can simply block his posts. Now, if everyone else who
insists on sending multiple complaints for each of his posts would just put
"Chicago Steve" somewhere in the subject line, the rest of us who wish to
block such posts can do so without blocking whatever you may have to say to
the list that isn't such a complaint.

Hello Everyone,

ARGHHHH! Everyone keeps quoting Steve, defeating my blocker.

One person writing numerous posts on the same topic ad nauseam is spam - by
anyone's definition.

Many people writing single posts concerning the one person is a legitimate
complaint.

It's not the absolute number posts that is the problem, it is the number
being generated by one person on the same topic vs. the number being
generated by many persons on the same topic. One may complain about the
number of responses being generated by Steve's posts but keep in mind those
responses are originating from multiple individuals - not a single person.

Art, do you have an opinion on this? You wrote the list rules.
