It depends on several factors including the following:
1) Total Known Weight.
2) Pairings.
3) What type, Mare or Highland. Mare material only accounts for ~17% so a
higher price is demanded.
4) How beautiful the material is.
5) Who is selling the material.
6) Where it came from. Highest average price in the following order.
Australia>NWA>NEA>Libya>Oman. There are several factors at work here.
7) Scientific value.
8) How the material is promoted. The more press good or bad, the more
demand.
And a host of other things determine value.
