Bob,
Thanks for the link concerning Hualapai Wash and Gold Basin.
There has been a lot of behind the scenes talk about this issue over the
past four or five years. Some thought that it was incredible that there
would be twenty (20) different Hualapai Wash meteorites in addition to the
original Gold Basin find. The idea that the Gold Basin meteoroid was a
heterogeneous mass appears to have some merit now. This just goes to show
what good science can do.
Do you suppose that this will require the renaming of Hualapai 001 - 020?
