its maybe theory.
Usually when I cut meteorite and I know that I need some material for TS in
future, I trying to cut one or more slices 1-2mm thin only with destination
for TS. Ofcourse its big waste of material, but You need them for
classification and later You can make proper price of TS depending of how
much material You lose (specimen, cut loses)
