And if friends or family ask me to fix a computer problem of theirs, I do it for free and refuse any
offers of money, as some things are more important than lining your wallet.

Yes, and what good the Unions did in the first half of the 20th century is overshadowed by the
corrupt, greedy, scumbag organizations that unions grew into in the second half of the 20th century.
Unions don't care who they hurt as long as they "get theirs".  I have contempt for Unions and would
never be part of one.

I can't speak for everyone, but I just have some sort of visceral distaste for taking a hobby that
interests you and trying to get rich off of it.  It just seems to cheapen the hobby, to me, and a
more true support of the hobby would to be to sell items/services/whatever at the barest minimum you
can afford above cost.  But that's just me-- I'm not saying that YOU shouldn't be a dealer hoping to
get rich, just that I never would want to be.
