I don't know if that was me but it does not quite sound like me.

But since you mention Darryl (who passed away on Monday, August 13, 2001
and whose birthday I forgot again last August -- shame on me!), ... here
is what he wrote on Saturday, July 21, 2001 in a private mail:

"Anyhow, I don't want the List to know, as there are too
many people there out to give me a bad time. Darryl"

You see, things haven't changed very much but I see Darryl smiling.
