If the weather lets me, I hope to make a day-trip into the Mojave
at some point over the 3-day weekend.  If I believed the weather
reports from yesterday, I'd have written off the weekend.  But now
the local news "meteorologists" (if you can call them that) have
backed off on their pineapple express 3-days-of-rain storm warnings
for southern California, so a trip may be back in the works.  --Rob
