Hi Darren and all,

I know we're divided politically, socially and economically. We act like a group of warring camps sometimes. I may even go to the extent of confessing that I am prone to gravitate one way or the other as the winds change. With all this I am quite convinced that even given the utmost time and circumstances nothing in the world will prevent this list from every changing much. All the conflict creates a certain balance. I believe it's a good thing. Darren thinks he's a scholar and a crusader of the downtrodden. He seems determined to leave an indelible impression here. His contributions are laudible for the most part but I think he needs to forget his aspirations to save the depressed classes of today and of yesteryear. You will never guide the list on a path of social justice, liberty and equality. Meteorites are the priority but forget about dictating any new guidelines of expression. OT works well. Delete works better.

Bill
