The Oregon Meteorite

Although the ownership of the prize is still a matter of litigation, New 
York men are in competition with the national government and with 
representatives of educational institutions in all parts of the world, to 
obtain possession of the giant meteorite which is discovered in Oregon a 
year ago.

Dr. George F. Kunz, who has lately come much into public notice by reason of 
his successful experiments with radium and other similar substances, is much 
interested in the Oregon meteorite, and with other gentlemen hopes 
ultimately to take the remarkable stone to New York.  The meteor is, 
perhaps, the largest ever found.
