Dear Listees:

I've been away for a few days, so have been tardy in commenting on 
one very important matter: big congratulations to Matt and Karen 
Morgan on the birth of their first child!

Sorry to hear that auctioneer Michael Blood will not be making it to 
Denver this year, but I'm sure the COMETS will do their best to 
replace his unique presence. Don't forget the beer barrel for the 
auction, okay?

I am looking forward to seeing many of you next weekend, and am 
anticipating another fine party and auction courtesy of our Colorado 
hosts. I am also aware of at least two well-known List members who 
will be attending their first Denver show this time around, so a 
gruelling initiation ceremony is probably in order!

And I am so ready for one of those fishbowl-sized La Loma margaritas! 
I think Jim Strope had two last year. Is he crazy?  : )
