AMENDMENT NO. 12 TO NASA RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENT (NRA)
ENTITLED "RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES IN SPACE SCIENCE - 2004" (ROSS-04),
NNH04ZSS001N RELEASED JANUARY 30, 2004.

    Amendment No. 12 to NASA Research Announcement "Research
    Opportunities in Space Science" (NNH04ZSS001N) establishes a new
    Program Element B.21 in Appendix B entitled
    "HYABUSA Participating Scientist Program."  The new Program Element
    solicits proposals for adding a U.S. sample scientist to the HYABUSA
    science team.

    Notices of Intent to Propose are due November 19, 2004, and
    proposals are due January 21, 2005.
