Hello Marc and List,

The Staunton IIIE iron (Virginia) would be about 200 km from Washington D.C.
There is a polished and etched partial slice of 26.7 grams in my collection.

Description: Superb light silvery-gray metallic polished and etched partial slice
with thin black oxide crust along one of the outer edges. This small selection of
specimens displays the unusual IIIE type structure of which only twelve additional
have been discovered (*).

Now anyone guess who this partial slice came from ???

(*) Burlington - Cachiyuyal - Chebankol - Colonia Obrera
Coopertown - Kokstad - Paloduro - Paneth's Iron - Staunton
Rhine Villa - Tanokami Mountain - Willow Creek - Xinjiang (Armanty)

Best wishes,

Bernd
