     The falling of a meteor in northwest Nebraska last Wednesday caused 
much excitement among the residents of that part of the state.  The search 
for the place where the meteor struck is still going on.  It was seen by 
many, many others saw the smoky trail left in its path across the sky and 
very many more felt the shock when the celestial visitor struck the earth.  
The falling of the meteor seems well autheuticated and for that reason the 
search for the place of impact continues.
