Hi,

Having recently got a nice 0.376g slice of Dag 400, I have been looking
around the net for any research papers on it, this got me wondering if
anyone knows why the total known weight of each of the lunar falls is so
low? Is there some physical process that determines the maximum size a
lunar ejection, (and hence meteorite fall can be), or would the strewn
field be much bigger than a 'normal' fall, thus making it appear to have
a low TKW?

Maybe it is just statistics (i.e. not enough found so far). It seems
that the Maximum TKW the biggest lunar is just a couple of Kilo's,
compared to many hundreds of kilos even tons for your typical OC.

A similar story seems to be true for martians, and there seems to be
plenty of pairings e.g. Sau xxx
