Indeed -- one of the first thoughts that came to mind while reading
the book.  I mentioned _Deception Point_ on this list a month or so
ago to see if anyone else had read it, and was surprised that not
one person responded.  Dan Brown's book is the first (and probably
the last) New York Times top-10 book in which a meteorite figures so
prominently in the plot.  --Rob
