[DogParkList] New user question

I'm just getting started in amateur satellites and need some equipment recommendations for setting up the rotator with MacDoppler.
Is the Yaesu a good A/E rotator to start and grow with?
What else do I need to interface it with my mac and the software?
Any other setup tips?  I'm hoping to have a workable set up for JOTA this year.
