[DogParkList] Line in and ispectrum

Hello All.
     I am using ispectrum on my imac and it works great.  The problem is,
when I run an audio cable from my SP 20 speaker to the line in jack on the
mac, I get a humming noise on the speaker.  The hum quits if I unplug the
line in connection.  I tried toroids with no success.  Has anyone else had
this problem and how did you fix it?
