Sounds like a corrupted prefs file.
Close MLDX, find the plist file, mine is in my

:Library:Preferences:MacLoggerDX.plist

And move it to the trash, restart MLDX and see if that fixes it.
What version of MLDX are you using, make sure you get the latest, from

ftp://dogparksoftware.com/MacLoggerDX4.2.7.sit
