I tried the attachment you sent me again, but this time on the  
desktop and it appeared to expand OK but when it was done there were  
"0" items in the folder.

It looks like it's an Expander/Tiger bug...

I downloaded the 9.0.2 updater...

... but it didn't help.

I have put a warning on the download page, and CC'ed the dogpark  
list ...

"Note: Due to a bug in Expander under Tiger, you may not be able to  
expand the download on the Desktop - move to another folder and expand."

You are welcome. Thanks for catching the Expander bug - I normally  
download to a folder and wouldn't have noticed it.
