[DogParkList] 817 and computer noise

I'm sitting in a car on the beach in Port Aransas, TX  - my PowerBook G4,
FT-817 and a Buddipole . Using a Keyspan USA-19 USB adapter  with the Yaesu
cable.

As near as I can tell all the functions work fine with the 817.  

I have noticed  the noise level of the computer  getting into the radio.
About an S7 or S8 - But if I hold the computer in my lap or grab it,  ( or
pull the USB out) all the noise goes away.   Anyone seen this???

I did not have anything to ground the radio or computer with - If I get a
chance I will
