Discussion on Israel with Sisterhood

Tomorrow! Tuesday, November 21st // 7:00 pm // CBI

Please join us for this discussion moderated by Lisa Friedman and Barbara
Ismail. We will unpack our questions about Israel's history and the current
situation, and will have an open forum to share and discuss our thoughts.
Our discussion will be based on Israel: A Simple Guide to The Most
Misunderstood Country on Earth, by Noa Tishby, which provides a clear and
readable account of Israel's history while debunking many misperceptions and
providing clear perspective for us to better understand Israel. We will
discuss ways in which we can be better equipped to enter conversations with
factual evidence that supports Israel and the Jewish people.

Singing Israeli Songs Together in Solidarity

Tuesday, November 28th // 7:00 pm // CBI

Presented by the new Music Task Force of CBI, led by Cantor Lorna Wallach
with musical accompaniment by Len Hausman. Join us for an Erev Shirah.
Community Singing and Fellowship - In person and Zoom, with Minyan
immediately after. Please contact the front office for more information and
Zoom code. 

Bring your musical instruments and percussion items!

Erev Shabbat Live - Chanukah Edition!

Friday, December 1st // CBI        

Bim Bam Shabbat for Young Families at 5:30 p.m.

A special Shabbat experience for our families with young children!

Shabbat Dinner at 6:00 p.m.

A catered deli dinner -- with latkes, of course!!! Eat, relax, and schmooze
with your CBI friends. Kid-friendly, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free
options! A generous donor has underwritten the cost of this Shabbat Dinner. 

Kabbalat Shabbat Service at 7:00 p.m.

We'll also be celebrating December Birthdays! Come out for birthday wishes .
& chocolate treat!
