Dear Congregants,

As we continue to cope with the horrific events unfolding in Israel, some of
you have expressed concerns about the call from Hamas for a "popular
mobilization" in support of Palestine to take place on Friday, October 13,
2023.  At this time, law enforcement is not reporting any threats against
the Greater MetroWest community. 

At CBI, our security guard will be on duty, and we will be vigilant in
implementing our security protocols as we are every day. Furthermore, we
have been in touch with the Millburn Police, and they will have an increased
visible presence around our building. Our preschool will operate during its
usual hours. Please know that we take the security of everyone who comes
into our building with the utmost seriousness.

To support each other and show our solidarity with Israel, please join us
for an in-person Kabbalat Shabbat service this evening at 5:30 pm.
